WHO WE ARE: FireFly Media Group specializes in UAV (drone) cinematography and photography. With years of production experience, we understand the needs of Directors and Directors of Photography as well as the production environment in general. We have a Section 333 exemption from the FAA to conduct aerial filming operations for motion picture and television productions, carry liability insurance to $2M and have equipment insurance for camera packages up to $35K. Limits can be increased per project as needed.

WHAT WE DO: Our heavy lift platforms are dedicated to flying cinema and photographic cameras- Canon 5D4, C200, C300 and C500, Red Dragon, Red Scarlet, Sony FS7, FS5 and A7S and PhaseOne iXM-100MP.

WE ARE FIREFLY MEDIA

Our approach is to create stunning aerial images that help you tell your story. We bring aerial expertise to set working with directors and directors of photography to bring your vision to life. We take care of all the paperwork and regulations allowing you to focus on creativity.

EQUIPMENT

We operate a fleet of drones specifically designed to fly cinema cameras like the Alexa Mini and RED. We also operate smaller drones such as the Inspire 2, Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic 2 Pro when a larger drone is not necessary.

LICENSED

We are licensed by the FAA to conduct commercial aerial operations for film and television productions. We carry $5M in general liability and equipment insurance.

SKILLED CREW

Our drone team operates with a three person crew consisting of a FAA licensed pilot, camera/gimbal op and visual observer.

EXPERIENCE
